She/Her
PhD Student, Graduate Program in Neuroscience
2019-2023: B.A. Behavioral Neuroscience, University of San Diego
I graduated from the University of San Diego with an Honors B.A. in Behavioral Neuroscience and minors in French and Biomedical Ethics. At USD, I conducted invigorating research in Dr. Jena Hales’ lab studying the role of the endocannabinoid system in elapsed time memory. Time in the Hales’ lab nurtured my curiosity for the seamless internal mechanisms of temporal learning and memory. Additionally, I was accepted into the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program where I was given the opportunity to dive further into the research community through more involvement in research, conferences, and talks. Learning and memory, within the context of behavioral/systems neuroscience, has always been a passion of mine and I strive to continue fueling my interest in this.
I am now in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at BU and as part of the Meyer Lab, have the opportunity to continue honing my drive for research within the realm of learning and memory processes. I am interested in understanding the neural circuitry underlying fear and safety learning, through behavioral methodology and manipulations of the circuitry. In my free time you can find me running, hiking, finding new dessert places, and enjoying the sun when it comes out.
